Sarah Erschabek is a 5th grade ELA/SS teacher.  Mrs. Erschabek has taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades all subjects and has been at Austin Parkway for 20 years!  In her spare time she enjoys reading, crafting, baking, painting, working out, playing with animals, and working with my church kids and Girl Scout troop.  “I've been married for 17 1/2 years. All three of my children have been APE Sailors and my youngest is a fifth grader this year. I enjoy teaching and traveling, so by offering to take 5th graders to Washington D.C. every June, I get to enjoy both at the same time. I played the violin for 7 years growing up and was on the dance team in high school. I came from a military family and I moved around every 2-3 years growing up, so when I began teaching at APE, I knew I found my home. My family and I are currently raising guide dog puppies for Southeastern Guide Dogs which is an organization who give guide dogs to the visually impaired. Our current puppy is named Pixie. My kids keep my husband and I very busy with baseball, football, choir, band, piano, gymnastics, and other activities.”  Congratulations, Mrs. Erschabek!
